Other Copy Cut Paste Keys

After talking to a bunch of other people about the second set of copy cut paste keys, I was surprised to find that not many people knew about them.
Long ago my first programming language was qBasic and it did not have the well-known ctrl-c
etc shortcut keys,
it had a very different key combo. These key were:
- shift-delete - Cut
- ctrl-insert - Copy
- shift-insert - Paste
These keys come in handy occasionally, especially when doing lots of repetitive tasks, and the ctrl-c keys are too far away.
The only issue that I seem to come across is that sometimes if you are shift-selecting things, and you hit delete before releasing shift, you end up adding to the current clipboard!
